the latest wells family antics

Getting along and not fighting for a few minutes....probably because I let them play on the iPad!

Angela had a great student teacher in her room all semester (Ms. McGowan).  She is leaving so we threw her a parfait party (these teachers get creative now that everything is healthy and they shy away from cookies and cupcakes!).  It was fun to help organize and the kids loved it.

The Eliot has 1 class "perform" each week in the morning.  All the kids come into the cafeteria and eat if they want.  Then this class gives the morning meeting notes (weather, news, etc), does the pledge and does a quick song, dance or poem.  Hysterical videos of Angela's class!  She was so excited and not nervous at all to be on stage.

We got our tree!  On the way home from the Polar Express we have stopped at this tree farm in Maine.  Not the best tree we ever got, but we still love it!  And there is nothing like cutting down your own.  One of my favorite traditions.

We love our tradition of heading to Portland, Maine for the Polar Express.  It starts off the season right, and we get a weekend to play with good friends. 

Both kids play this year and love it!  And Rich can make baskets now as well!  And yes, Rich has basketball immediately following 2 hours of hockey.

Richard was definitely the happiest kid out there that hockey was back!  Looking forward to another great season.  And this year they have jerseys!
