the latest wells family antics

We were SUPER lucky to get to spend the day at the US Open.  Thanks to cousin John (who gave us great seats in the stadium), we had a blast.  What an experience!  So up close and personal to the players.  The kids were really impressed!  Those woman can serve over 100 miles per hour.

Since the kids had an extra week of summer, they spent a few days in Monroe at Babci's house while Chris nad I came back to NY to work.  As you can see they spent tons of time with their cousins and had a blast.  Fishing, baseball game, bowling to name a few things.  Mom, when do you want them back again? Chris and I enjoyed our time alone!

Not sure how I missed the guests of honor in these pictures, but I got great ones of the kids!  Always a great day when so many cousins get together  and the cray number of new ones on the way.  Can't wait to meet Baby Boy Barber!

As much of a pain as the feasts can be in the summer, they are also so fun and a rite of passage in the North End in the summer.  If you can't beat'em join'em....

Last day of summer camp!  Don't let this summer end.

The last week of camp this year was sailing camp in East Boston at Piers Park Sailing Center.  Not a bad view!  The kids enjoyed fishing, crabbing, lobstering, kayaking and sailing of course!

Erin and Matt had a wedding so we were able to watch Bradley and Maggie for the weekend!  It started by bellying up to the bar in the North End.  Bradley sadly did not win anything on his scratch tickets.  Once in Scituate we spent most of the time at the beach.  It wasn't the perfect beach weather, but it didn't rain and it kept all of the people away.  A delicious lobster dinner, Bradley snuggles and tons of golf...great weekend!
