the latest wells family antics

Congratulations to Joshua on his first holy communion.  So good to see cousins we don't get to see that often.

Since Daddy just got home from a week in Germany we celebrated his birthday on the baseball field (as he has for the past 4 years!) with pretzels for breakfast.

We are lucky enough to live in the best neighborhood where you are offered FREE Celtics play off tickets.  What a game!  Other than being so late, we had a blast.  Go Celts!

He's proud as punch and I am a little sad.  Richard has his own set of house keys.  He isn't really old enough to go home alone yet, but this way he can head home before me while I run errands (and he won't lose MY keys).  Big day!

This chick is an unbelievable athlete!  She played goalie the first half of the game and only let up one goal.  Then went on to score three in the second half when she played out.  She is good at all sports, but maybe we really need to look at lacrosse.....

Our first stop on our April break road trip with Colton and Kelley was Howe Caverns.  How amazing and interesting!  I think the kids were impressed with all they learned (although the activities later in the trip started to out weigh each old thing we did!).  It was also so interesting to drive through upstate NY. 

Nothing better than a beautiful Easter Sunday with family and neighbors!  The bunny came - how are these kids getting so big.

Love going to Monroe - Chris and I can get some chores done and the kids get to play with Babci and their cousins!

Angela's first lacrosse game of the season and she killed it!  Scored 4 of the 6 goals for the win (and assisted on the other two).

Communion dress shopping with Babci - Angela truly loves the show, Say Yes To The Dress and was channeling her inner diva!  What fun.  Stay tuned for the final product (Babci blinged the dress out a bit!).

Welcome to the world, our new friend Willa Thompson!  What a miracle baby you are!  Finally glad to meet you.

First Red Sox game of the season!!!  It was a cold one, but not too cold for beer and ice cream.  Richard kept score (which I love and reminds me so much of my Dad who taught me how), so I had to keep score while he ate his ice cream.  So fun to have our friends the Ginsburgs there as well. It was Rick Porcello bobble head night and the kids were so mad we weren't going to get there in time for one.  Amazingly the two guys in front of us got one and offered them to our kids.  Kindness!

One Shining Moment is the song/video montage the network producers play after the last game of the NCAA March Madness Tournament.  It is our favorite part!  It was Angela's alarm clock that morning and they watched in bed.  Adorable! Congrats to Daddy for winning this years bracket (and finally upsetting Richard who had won 3 years in a row!).

Although they had said it a few times, this was (probably) officially their last day of skiing.  Who would have guessed the NH mountains would get another 16 inches on April 1st.  The kids and Chris drive up and took advantage.  AND met up with our friends the Tildens!  Nothing beats 50 degrees and fresh powder.

Although the weather was awful, I had a wonderful birthday!  Blizzards in the blizzard, a little shopping and a wonderful adult dinner.
