The Big Apple Circus

We got the best phone call today on the way home from work/school. Kelley had tickets to the Big Apple Circus for us! Of course we ran home, changed and turned right around. Since Kelley, Heidi and the boys were going to McDonalds for dinner, we had to as well. It was a really fun Mommy/Richie night. We don't get much time alone without Angela and we both appreciate it when we do. After we shared a chicken mcnuggets meal in the park Richie and I ran up to the circus to meet up with the boys.
The Big Apple Circus is a small circus, but wonderful because it is an intimate setting. We had great seats as well which helped. Needless to say, the boys had a blast!

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)
