4th Birthday party

We had the BEST birthday party in the whole world (again!) at our ice rink.  Richie is just addicted to hockey and getting really good at his skating, so it was a no brainer as to what we were going to do for his 4th birthday.  I invited everyone we knew (literally) so Richie had so much fun skating with all of his friends and family.  There are so many other pictures to post, but there just isn't the room here (the rest are on Snapfish).  We almost had no cake, a few good friends were sick and couldn't come, and the snow threatened to keep others away, but we got through it all for the best birthday party ever!  As you can tell from the smile on his face in these pictures, Richie couldn't have asked for anything more.
A special thanks to everyone who was there.  You made this a special day for my baby (I mean big boy) and he is very lucky to have each and every one of you in his life!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
