Richard's 6th birthday!

I can't believe my baby is 6. He is psyched about it. He said he had the best day. At school he got a crown where he drew all of his favorite things (a cat???) and was line leader all day. Also every kid wrote a compliment that was put into a jar. They are amazingly sweet and really reflect who he is. He has 6 best friends and 2 girls who think he is cute. Utoh!
Corn muffins for breakfast and buffalo chicken nachos for dinner. Who wouldn't pick that?!?
Happy birthday to my baby boy! We love your huge warm heart and the passion you put into everything you do. This world is lucky to have you in it. You will do amazing things!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
