Ski day with just Mommy!

I just couldn't resist going skiing on a weekend we didn't have much to do. It just won't stop snowing so we may as well enjoy it! Chris wasn't interested because he hurt his knee but we didn't let him bring us down. I did actually have help (a lot) because our friend Lisa came as well. I love her because she never says no for any crazy idea. We decided on Pats Peak because it is close and kid friendly. What a great choice! The kids tore this place up. We went on every trail that wasn't a black diamond. Ang is an animal! Woods trails, LOTS of jumps, we did it all with no breaks. I had an unforgettable day with the kids. You would have never known they were only 6 and 3.
And check out the picture of Rich with only one ski.  Other one fell off getting on the lift.  He thought that was pretty cool.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
