Angela's birthday down the Cape

For Angela's birthday I offered her a party with friends on the beach, or a vacation at the beach with just family. I absolutely love her because she picked the weekend with family and never cared or wanted a friends party.  AND we were lucky enough to have cousin Bradley to spend the weekend with us.  You can see the amazing morning snuggles we got from him.  I could wake up like that every morning.  We stayed in Falmouth at the Seacrest because I had to be there for work Sunday morning anyway.  It was the perfect resort because they had an indoor and outdoor heated pools and it is right on the ocean.  Mini golf, delicious dinners, ice cream with EVERY meal, HOURS of swimming, lobster gummies before breakfast, and ocean sunsets.  What more could a four year old want? To do it again next year!

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)
