Christmas morning

Christmas morning was all that we thought it would be. The house was full of the wonderful sound of kids giggles and their faces glowed all day. As you can see, Santa brought everyone what they had asked for. Next year we will have to work more on the real spirit of Christmas and less on the presents. Richie did say his favorite part was spending time with his cousins! The best I can hope for from a 2 year old.








I got the best present of all this year!!! Chris was able to make all of my blog entries into a beautiful hard cover book. All of the work of writing this blog and now I have a keepsake. I may have shed a tear opening this one.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
