Angela's Baptism

We celebrated Angela's special day - her Baptism! It was a wonderful weekend with lots of family visitors. We had everyone over our house the night before for dinner and a brunch the morning before. The ceremony was at our parish here in Boston - St. Leonards. She is a very lucky girl!


She wore the Baptism gown I wore that my Mom made. It was also on her Great-Grandmother's Birthday who she is named after.

She cried quite a bit throughout the ceremony (just like Richie did!), but just smiled at the priest when he poured the water on her head. It made him (and us) laugh.

Singing the ABC's

So I finally got it on camera although it isn't his best effort. For those of you who have been around us recently, you know how Rich sings the ABC song ALL DAY LONG. It is obviously his favorite song and he is really good at it! In this video he misses a lot of the letters because he does not want to be taped. But he literally knows all the letters and the ending. I guess he was developing his verbal skills when he was sitting on his bottom for all those months NOT crawling. This was taken this morning and I had to bribe his with a cookie. It was only 9 am, but it was the only way I could get him to do it for the camera.

Angela's first holy communion

An absolutely beautiful day for my Angela Jane!  She looked absolutely gorgeous and she couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.  She celebrated with her family and then with friends who feel like family now.  We are truly blessed! Brunch with family at Monica's and then a bbq at the Crocini's. How cute is she with her bbf's?!?!?!

Celtics courtside!!

At 5:00 Chris got a call from a customer (who happens to live across the street), asking if we wanted his seats for the pre-season Celtics game tonight.  Of course we do!  Yes, it was the first game of the World Series and the Red Sox were playing, but you still can't beat going to a game. Chris had a feeling this guy had good seats, but when we arrived at Row A the kids were ecstatic.  Courtside, directly behind the players seats!  It was so awesome!   They were just feet from us and they were huge.  We could hear the plays they were going to run and then watched them run them.  Angela didn't love the seats because we were almost too close and she had trouble seeing over the 6'7" players!  The game was on ESPN and we were so close to the court that we were also on TV a lot.  My Mom was able to tell me what we were wearing because she watched it.  I found a quick link below.  You can see how close we were. ...
