Maine in the rain

We had our annual golf trip to Maine with friends. The guys went golfing (Father's Day present) and the girls stay back with the kids and enjoy the beach. Although we had more rain than we would have liked, the kids still got to play in the sand for 3 days.

Fun times with friends...the Shumways, Hardings and Blancos. Thanks for the laughs.

Angela just LOVES to be outside. Doesn't matter where it is, she just needs the fresh air.

Richie really could live at the ocean! He never gets enough of the sand.

I had to include this picture of Richie and Maddie because Chris thinks it looks like the Cialis ad with the couple sitting in the bath tubs!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
