ACTUAL birthday

So on top of all of the parties, cupcakes, friends/family and presents Richie's actual birthday finally rolled around so we had another reason to celebrate! He woke up to presents and homemade corn muffins. Then I presented him with lots of ideas of fun things we could do that morning. He chose to stay in his pajamas and watch Toy Story 2. When asked what he wanted for his birthday lunch he said McDonald's.....oh just wait, it gets better! After nap we went bowling (for the first time) and for his birthday dinner.......Redbones (ribs)!!! All things he is rarely allowed to do.
Just wanting to spend a lazy day on the couch eating fattening foods.....obviously my son!
HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY my precious little booper pants!!







I had to sneak this picture in because we were all so busy we didn't notice Angela was swiping french fries off of the table. Needless to say, she loved them!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
