Celtics courtside!!

At 5:00 Chris got a call from a customer (who happens to live across the street), asking if we wanted his seats for the pre-season Celtics game tonight.  Of course we do!  Yes, it was the first game of the World Series and the Red Sox were playing, but you still can't beat going to a game.
Chris had a feeling this guy had good seats, but when we arrived at Row A the kids were ecstatic.  Courtside, directly behind the players seats!  It was so awesome!   They were just feet from us and they were huge.  We could hear the plays they were going to run and then watched them run them.  Angela didn't love the seats because we were almost too close and she had trouble seeing over the 6'7" players!  The game was on ESPN and we were so close to the court that we were also on TV
a lot.  My Mom was able to tell me what we were wearing because she watched it.  I found a quick link below.  You can see how close we were.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
