Suffolk Stampede

The kids school is associated with Suffolk University who in turn does some fundraising for the school throughout the year.  This annual fall race hs always been a lot of fun and this year the kids really stepped it up.  The had lots of games to play on the ballfield while we waited for the races to begin.  The kids fun run was to run around the field three times.  Angela killed it and came in second place!  Most of the other kids didn't even run all three laps.
Then Rich and I ran the 5k.  He was certainly the youngest one running by quite a few years and he did an amazing job!  We literally only walked in two small parts (up this huge hill!!) and ran the rest of the way.  We beat many people with a time of 32 minutes. 
I am SO PROUD of my little speed demons.  I think we will certainly be out there running again soon.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
