Jakie and Joshie birthday party

This weekend was Jakie and Joshie's 4th and 2nd birthday party.  They had the party at a bouncy house which of course was a favorite among all of the children.  After a little time to warm up (and some sugar for Angela) the kids just couldn't stop.  And as you can see from one of the pictures, even I got into it!  Before the party we had a wonderful visit with Grandma and after we got to sleep over.  The kids love that they get to see each other morning, noon and night when we visit.  There were quite a few other (better) pics, but Chris had a camera mishap.   Regardless, you can see how much fun we had.  Happy birthday to two of my favorite little boys in the whole world.  We love you!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
