Lake Tahoe Day 3

Day 3 was another perfect ski day and this time Richie skied with us.  He had done so well in lessons this year and this mountain was set up perfectly for us to spend the day together.  It had been so warm we started the day with breakfast outside.  Actually we did everything this day OUTSIDE!  You can see pictures of our numerous Gatorade/beer breaks.  You need time to check the trail map!  You can see Angela had another great day at day care as well.  She got to see part of the mountain on a snow mobile ride.  Sorry about the very long video while skiing but I had to capture the view, Richie skiing AND the singing and dancing he does while heading down the mountain.  Hopefully your stomach can handle the bumpy video to see all of this.
Before we left Heavenly we grabbed Angela and took the gondola to the top of the mountain.  More amazing views.  Nap time on the drive to Tahoe City to visit Kathleen and family.  Part 2 of our vacation.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
