Trip to NYC w/Juliane

We had another crazy world wind adventure when my best friend Juliane and I took our four kids to NYC ourselves for the day.  We knew it would be crazy, but it turned out insane.  We took so many buses, train, ferries, etc in one day my head is still spinning thinking about it.  BUT as crazy as it was, it was worth every minute.  We had so much fun, especially getting to spend a whole day with Juliane.  I will never forget it.
I love the before and after pictures of the four kids in the two strollers.  That epitomizes our day. We hit the 9/11 Memorial, then Liberty Island and back uptown to Times Square and home to Monroe.  We left on the 9 am train and didn't get back until 9 pm.  So glad these kids had time to get to know each other.  They said their favorite part was getting to see Lady Liberty up close.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
