The newest baby Roman Alexander

We were able to go to Saratoga this weekend to welcome the newest member of our Clarkson clan - Roman Alexander Blanco. Melissa and Juan are very proud parents and big sister Vanessa is in love with her little man. I was VERY happy with the chance for some baby snuggle time. And boy did I take advantage.
The big boys played some golf, the Mommy's got to relax and the kids just played. We also had a visit from Katie and her kids Kay and Theo. There is nothing like spending time with old friends. We are so very lucky to have so many!






Can you believe my city kids...Richie said he had to go play in the forest (the woods behind the Blanco's house). Then he called a squirrel a mouse. And as you can see from this picture, Angela won't let her feet touch the grass! Chris thinks it may be time to move.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
