Tuition paid!

Well our tuition is paid for Richie to start K1 at St. John's in September!! Not sure why this seemed like a picture moment....I can't imagine how I will feel the first day of school. Can you believe this crazy hockey playing kid is going to go to big boy school (what we have been calling it) and wear a uniform???? I know I will cry my eyes out the first time I see him in his navy pants and white polo shirt (belt and shoes too of course).
Richie is going to stay at TCC day care Tues/Thurs through June. Then he is going to spend the summer playing outside with Dawn and Angela. He seems very excited for the transitions. I hope that continues for Sept.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
