Dawn days - Dawn's birthday

"We had so much fun on my birthday! Richard was 35190583 times more excited it was my birthday than I was! We started off by Richard opening my present of "orange wine and a card for pizza" then going to get a donut in Pj's. We went to the fountain and watched the maintenance man turn them on (Rich is obsessed with this process). After Angela's nap we watched a show in front of Quincy market.. then off to McDonald's where Richie told everyone it was my birthday and kept singing to me :0). After that we walked through the market and tried on crazy hats... and had a dance party to a jazz quartet that was playing. Then it was off to the harborwalk where Rich and Angela held hands and danced to another music group. We went to look at the boats, saw the duck house, then went to the pier to watch the planes land. After all that the kids napped on our way back to the cc park where we had to play baseball. THEN we stopped at the bank to visit a teller named Jen and get orange lollipops, then to Bova's to see Giovanna and get a cookie THEN to the fountains AGAIN.. We did SO MUCH and it was SO MUCH FUN!"

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
