Sailing on the Charles River

Since we still had a good portion of the morning left after blueberry picking, Richie and I got dropped off at the Community Boating boat house to go sailing with Lisa on the Charles River. This was a really exciting trip because we drive over the Longfellow bridge on the way home from school and talk about the white sail boats on the river.....and now we were able to go on one! Richie was a little nervous at first, but he mellowed out and got used to the bumps and sprays of water. He never did get used to the wind causing the boat to lean to one side, but you can't blame him. Needless to say we had a great time. Lisa taught us all about sailing and we hope to go again soon. Thanks Lisa!
