Dawn days - messy art day


"Here is a picture from a messy art day! We have 2 kinds of art. One is where we have to do art at the table and wash hands between activities. For the other.. pretty much anything goes.. i put out chalk and art stuff on the sidewalk and let them go nuts! Rich painted his feet and walked on the paper.. drew on the sidewalk (and Angela) with chalk, and Angela ate chalk and then once i stopped her, she moved on to coloring on the step and door! eek.. i guess you can't really control a 1 year old with chalk! they just loved getting messy! The other pics are of Angela in a blue dress that I love on her!"

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.
