The splash pool is open!

Our pool opens this weekend, but the splash pool (or baby pool we sometimes call it) opened today! The kids wanted to visit it of course because it has been many months since we have able to splash in it. AND it was pretty hot out, so the perfect day to be wet. Richie told me he loved summer because of how often he is allowed to be wet. You can't blame him!
As you can see, Richie was a daredevil and I found him climbing many times. And Angela's favorite part was going up and down the 6 inch step around the side. They kept me on my toes. We finished off our morning having lunch with Aunt Erin.

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
