Toy Story 3

Richie is a BIG Toy Story fan so we have been awaiting the release of the movie Toy Story 3 for months. We have books about it and have been watching the trailer and commercials. It was also going to mark another big milestone...Richie's first movie in the theater.
I think the movie and the theater experience did not disappoint! He was so excited the whole time. We were lucky enough to get to go with our buddy Colton. The boys were all smiles. We tortured them by making them sit through dinner beforehand. But Nana Mary made it all worth it because she gave "all boys who are good at dinner" Toy Story figurine collector sets! On top of that, they wore the same Buzz Lightyear T-shirt that she had given them last summer.
And I have to admit, it was a very clever, funny "adult" movie as well. I had a great time!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
