Maine House

Our third annual boys golfing/girls beach weekend!!  We didn't think it could happen again, but we had amazing weather.  Mid September in Maine and we spent 2 full days in bathing suits on the ocean.  My kids clocked an unbelievable number of hours in the sand.  They each went in the water and were not fazed by how cold it was.  Angela ate her whole lunch covered in sand then proceeded to eat another shovel full to wash it down with.   They are our beach babies and now we are thinking maybe we should move to Newburyport.
Once again a HUGE shout out to our friends the Shumways for putting us all up in their amazing house.  This group isn't easy either having 5 kids among us.  They are the best part and they are now becoming best friends.  Life is good!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
