Day at the Common with Dawn

"Today was such a great fall day!  Rich kept saying "it's soooo beautiful out!" For some reason he actually wanted me to take his picture everywhere we went! We walked through the gardens, fed the ducks cheerios (I know we aren't supposed to!), danced to some music that was being played on the bridge, and laid down at the edge of the duck pond and played in it with sticks! We then went to visit the "duckie family" where Rich tried out every one!  Then off to the commons to play in the leaves and then the playground.   
With the exception of Angela causing me to have several near heart attacks at the playground, the kids were so great today!  Your daughter is absolutely fearless! She climbed up the playground to the top of the big slide where all the older kids were. Then, she pushed a kid who must have been at least 8 out of the way and proceeded down the slide head first. Thank goodness for padded playgrounds!"
 I say thanks goodness for Dawn!!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)

Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
