Ringling Brothers!

Since Richie has grown up in the city, I have been able to take him to just about all of the kiddie shows that play here.  The circus is one of the shows that he has seen twice a year since he could walk (yep, SPOILED!!).  Our favorite though is the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.  It is huge and each year the show is very different.  They have so many elephants and tigers the kids are always amazed.  Angela seems to be very fond of the elephants, especially since she saw them eating Mike's Pastry treats on Hanover Street! 
This year we went to the circus with the Fosters.  Richie loves spending time with them because the girls are his age and Danny is a big kid that he looks up to.  I have to admit I love the circus too!  I could never wait to have kids so I had an excuse to go.


 Toy Story is the Disney on Ice show this Feb.  Can't wait!


We were at our seats a little because Richie was TERRIFIED of the clowns at the pre-show so we had to leave!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! Giggles!

Although Angela loves to smile (and does so ALL the time) she has been stingy with the belly laughs. Not this day!! She is totally a daddy's girl and he is the best at making her giggle. Enjoy - it is music to our ears.

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!
