Road trip to Hamilton

We had a fun Friday Mommy/Richie/Angela day by taking the commuter rail up to Hamilton.  We left early, got our train tickets and then hit Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.  It may have been the kids favorite part of the day!  While we sat and ate our bagels, we watched all of the trains come and go.  Once it was time to get on our train the kids stared out the window the whole trip up.  It was a nice way to travel!
In Hamilton, we spent a few hours playing with our friend Lucie and her new baby sister Eva.  Our friend Molly also came by for a bit!  The moms got to talk and the kids got to run around.  An especially good day because the weatherman said it was supposed to rain all day.  We only got a little wet on the walk home from the train station.  Glad we didn't listen to the news!

Red Sox game with our pal Colton

Another fun baseball game and this one we invited Richie's best bud Colton.  We used to invite our friends and now we invite the kids friends.  Luckily Colton's parents are our friends as well so a good time was had by all.   Since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, Rich wore the special shirt Babci made for him (half Red Sox half Yankees).  He always gets a lot of attention from it.  And this time Angela really got into the game more than usual.  She was so excited from the second we told her we were going to the game.  She insisted on wearing her Red Sox hat and shirt.  She cracked up everyone on the train because of her outfit and how she just kept yelling about the Red Sox.  Big Papi is her favorite player and she yelled his name the whole game.  Check out the video!

Single Mom - missing Daddy

Since Chris was away again for work, we had our first Mommy/Richie/Angela days. It was a lot of work, but I did it! I guess I can handle 2 kids at once. Here are some pictures of our days so Chris can see what we did and know we missed him. We did lots of extra fun stuff because I was bribing Richie so he would go get a hair cut. Well it worked! He is finally not a shaggy dog and he didn't cry again. I am so glad the meltdowns during hair cuts are gone. That first one was brutal. I will never forget it. Some of our first smiles! (Unfortunately my camera memory card was full so this video got cut off)
